NZ Tourism Link draws visitors from Thailand to the home of The Hobbit

We've all heard of the Lord of the Rings movies and the more recent Hobbit production. Not only have the movies drawn legions of fantasy fans to the cinemas, they've also drawn scores of tourists to the location where Peter Jackson created the films -- New Zealand.

A tourist gem! Located in Loei Province, Chiang Khan is a peaceful riverside town fronted by a large cluster of wooden guesthouses, restaurants and shops. Tourists and locals are regularly seen riding bicycles enjoying the scenic boardwalk alongside the Mekong River.

Thailand's Tourist Police launch their Smartphone Tourist Buddy APP for holiday-makers

Thailand's Tourist Police recently embarked on a major campaign to improve their image and their services for tourists by launching a new application. The "Tourist Buddy Virtual Assistant" was launched at an "i-Exhibition" within Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi Airport.
