A gorgeous cool day in Lumpini Park for the Cancer Care Fun Run 2013

The day began with 7am registration at Bangkok’s Lumpini Park. Thousands turned up to take part in this very successful event. The 6th annual Cancer Care Charity Fun Run was presented by the Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok, in cooperation with the Thai Red Cross Society. The run originated in Canada when cancer victim Terry Fox began a run across the country and inspired the world to join hands to fight the disease. Proceeds from the run will go towards the research projects currently conducted by the ‘Hematological Cancer Research Centre’ at Chulalongkorn Hospital. Over the past
18 years, 27.4 million baht has been donated to cancer research centers in Thailand.
