Pattaya International Fashion Week was initiated in 2010 under the Thailand Ministry of Commerce to promote fashion and designs for students, young designers and patent registration. The project was co-hosted by Rakchat Group which consists of Fashion TV, Elite Model Management and Artiste Model Agency. It is also the vision of Pattaya City Mayor Khun Ittipol Khunplume to make the city a world-class fashion destination.
