Nong Khai – Adventures begin at the Mekong River

After arriving in the northern city of Udon Thani, just a 1 hour flight from Bankok we headed north to Nong Khai, home of the Mekong River which also travels through China, Vietnam, Laos Myanmar and Cambodia. Nong Khai is approx. 55 k’s from Udon Thani and is the northern most town of the eastern Thai Provinces…literally on the doorstep of Laos …… a great province for adventure.
