Pattaya Fashion Week and the Zoom Music Festival 2013

Pattaya International Fashion Week was initiated in 2010 under the Thailand Ministry of Commerce to promote fashion and designs for students, young designers and patent registration. The project was co-hosted by Rakchat Group which consists of Fashion TV, Elite Model Management and Artiste Model Agency. It is also the vision of Pattaya City Mayor Khun Ittipol Khunplume to make the city a world-class fashion destination. The Mayor officially opened the event along with fashion and government reps and local sponsors. Fashion week has proven to be a successful partnership fashion event between the public and the private sector. Sponsors like Kingdom Property believe these sorts of events show Pattaya at its best.
At both Central Festival and Royal Garden Plaza over 20 shows and 50 models showcased Thai and International brands. Visitors were able to check out the new season’s fashion and swimwear styles and enjoy some glamour by the sea.

Much of the music industry these days is dominated by big name DJs and many were on stage at Pattaya’s Bali Hai Pier for a weekend event on 3 stages.
Highlight performers were top Thai Pop bands such as C-Quint, DJ Ono, DJ Domination – winner of the World best video DJ, Pay & White with top of the chart hits of the Crystal Palace and DJ Q 45 from the USA.
Dancers and Rappers like Gordon G Spark also got the crowd jumping….
Pattaya’s Mayor agrees that Fashion and music make a great mix. Among the sponsors, The Pier nightclub from Pattaya’s Walking Street.
When it comes to cool events, Pattaya now attracts some of the best in Thailand.
