Real Madrid Football Academy established at the Regent’s School Bangkok

School today is not just about reading, writing and arithmetic. Some students discover early that their field of expertise is out thereon the field. Football Fever is well and truly alive in Thailand and now it all begins at school. The latest win for Thailand is the Real Madrid Foundation’s decision to establish a Real Madrid Football Academy at the Regent’s School in Bangkok. The International School recognizes that young players who are interested in football may also want to pursue a career in the sport. This has often been a difficult dream to bring to reality due to the lack of proper training by professional coaches. Regent’s school founder Dr Virachai Techavijit says he’s proud that Real Madrid has chosen his campus for its new training base in Thailand.
Dr Virachai welcomed Manuel Parreño, Worldwide Director of the Real Madrid Foundation and his team to the school to celebrate the announcement, along with representatives from the Senate Committee on Sports and numerous local officials.
Among the visitors Sarmad Shiltagh, the local representative of Real Madrid Foundation and co- founder of the Real Madrid Football Academy Thailand.
