The St. David’s Society Ball 2016 – Bangkok

The country of Wales may be small but it packs a big punch when it comes to rugby, castles, sheep, music – notably Tom Jones and Shirley Bassey and famous actors like Richard Burton, Sir Anthony Hopkins, Timothy Dalton and Catherine Zeta-Jones. The Welsh community in Bangkok is understandably proud of its heritage. Named after the patron saint of Wales, the annual St David’s Society Charity Ball was founded way back in 1976, so it was time to celebrate its 40th Anniversary in style at Bangkok’s Amari Watergate Hotel Ballroom.
