Giant Turtles are enthralling, and endangered.

But they’re thriving at a unique research and conservation facility in Phangnga Province, just north of Phuket, near the bustling popular tourist region of Khao Lak. We enjoy some quality turtle time at the center, and release one back to nature on the adjacent beach.

Phang Nga Coastal Fisheries Research and Development Centre is located on Thai Muang Beach, a great place to learn about marine life.
