This Buddha along the Chao Phraya River is a popular Bangkok tourist attraction and dominates the local skyline as it is 67 meters tall and 40 meters at its lap.

Wat Paknam is a temple founded in 1610. The place is now famous for promoting Dhammakaya meditation.
