Officially listed as an endangered species in 1986, Asian Elephant numbers are slowly on the rise, especially here in Thailand, thanks to the tremendously dedicated staff here at the “Not for Profit”t Elephant Stay & the Royal Elephant Kraal and Village. Established in 1996, the primary objective is to conserve the species and to provide a home for retired, abused ,sick, injured and neglected elephants.
