Formerly known as Orient Express Hotels, Belmond changed its name in July 2014 in order to align its corporate identity with that of its primary luxury brand. Perhaps best known throughout Europe and the U.S. the brand name is not exactly on the tip of most luxury tourists’ tongues in Asia….a position they are keen to improve upon.
