Bueng Kan Province and it’s ‘Stairways to Heaven’ – Wat Phu Tok

One of the lessor know regions in Thailand’s North East is Bueng Kan Province. To get there is a one hour flight from Bangkok to Udon Thani and then a 200 kilometer car ride to the main city. My first stop upon arrival in Bueng kan was Wat Phu Tok, affectionately know as “the stairway to heaven”.
