Destination ThailandTue, September 12, 2017 1:12am

Samut Songkhram is a small Thai province on the Gulf of Thailand, southwest of Bangkok. There are many Buddhist temples in Thailand and there are a few unique and interesting ones – the Wat Bang Kung is one of them. It is actually a temple built within a huge banyan tree! Just a few steps from Wat Bang Kung lies the memorial to Bang Kung Camp, a historic naval outpost from the 1700’s
