The Lotus Foundation – Helps poor kids to stay at school

In rural Thailand, the Lotus Flower Foundation helps keeps poor kids in school – and away from child labor and prostitution.
How does it work? Simple. The Foundation identifies the kids in need, and in danger, and covers the costs of food, basic necessities and school supplies to keep the child at school.
The Lotus Foundation goes one further, Founder Gabrielle Von Reding is an author of Children’s Books and a strong supporter of Meditation. She believes that meditation can help kids to deal with emotional trauma.
