On this night the best of the best in Thailand’s property industry have made their way to the Centara Grand at CentraWorld Hotel Bangkok for the annual Thailand Property Awards. The awards are now in their 8th year and this year 33 awards were up for grabs.
Eight years after they commenced, Thailand’s prestigious property awards assist in promoting the high level of quality in Thailand’s real estate, construction, architectural and interior design sectors, as well as the professional services on offer in the country.
There’s no doubt, the awards have put Thailand’s real estate industry on the world stage.
Nominations are highly coveted by real estate agents, property developers, interior designers and architects.
As the Gala dinner event opened its doors, property industry leaders from throughout the country turned out in glittering force for a competition that was tougher than ever.
Organizers Ensign Media believe this event has become the benchmark for the industry in Thailand. Among the long list of sponsors, Pattaya’s Kingdom Property, led by two time best developer winner Nigel Cornick.
So, who took home the trophies on this night………well, let us show you the highlights.
Thailand’s Best Developer Winner was Sansiri Public Company Limited whose projects are well-regarded throughout the land of smiles.
Best Boutique Developer went to Kalara Developments.
Colliers International Thailand picked up Best Residential Agent in both Bangkok and Pattaya, Thailand’s Eastern Seaboard.
In Phuket, the Best Residential Agent award went to Exotiq Property.
Best Residential Agent in Hua Hin was Century 21 Pro Real Estate.
Best Residential Agent Samui was Exclusive Properties by Luxury Villas & Homes.
The overall best Commercial Agent , Best Property Management Company for Bangkok and Resorts plus Best Property Consultancy went to Jones Lang LaSalle.
Jones Lang LaSalle also took home the award for the Best Agency Deal for the Sale of the Laguna Phuket Beach Resort. Altogether they scooped up 5 awards making them the biggest winner on the night. Their MD says they’ll need an extra shelf for all the trophies.
The awards also honored projects in the fields of housing, condos, resorts and commercial property.
Celebrating from Pattaya, Nova Group’s The Palm for Best Condo Development (Eastern Seaboard).
Pattaya’s Mimosa themed attraction also picked up a commendation.
In Phuket the Best Condo Development award went to Kata Rocks.
The best of Thailand’s design and architecture was also applauded on the night.
Best Villa Architectural Design went to the stunning Moon Shadow Villa by Neo Concept Design and Construction for Sritrakul Development on the island of Koh Samui.
The Best Hotel Architectural Design award went to W Hotel Bangkok by SODA (Thailand) for Is-tith-mar World — Dubai and Golden Land.
Some of Thailand’s younger designers were thrilled with the recognition their work received.
New in the awards this year was the region of Khao Yai which is today home to both gorgeous vineyards and luxury real estate projects.
Thailand’s Real Estate Personality of the Year 2013 was awarded to Sor-a-poj Techa-krai-sri, CEO of Pace Development Corporation PLC.
It was truly a night of celebration for Thailand’s property industry and a showcase of the best in development, design and service.
